I am building a skin and the skin looks perfectly fine in SkinStudio but when I go to test it, there is a gap in the top section to the right of the title area. I don't have my buttons in the upper right of my windows so I am not sure if that's the problem. I will try to demonstrate it with dots and slashes:
GAP!

Anyone has any idea why that gap shows up while testing and not during SkinStudio preview? Any help would be appreciated.

Thx.

* bump *

I realized that this would have been a better post for the Help area or Skinning area but I still would like an answer.

Do you have a screenshot of the issue?

Take a screenshot and upload it as your desktop picture in the Upload / Edit your desktop image page.

OK, I uploaded a screenshot into my profile. Note the gap in the title bar and also note the magic pink showing in the bottom border! I did notice that the gap in the title bar depends on the width of the window. As you are resizing the window, the gap either appears in different sizes or totally disappears.

Are you using a 'Textback' Image that sits behind the titlebar text?
Also, check the left and right margins of the top border image too, and make sure they don't overlap.

Try adjusting your margins. I note you have them set at '1', I'd increase that to at least 15 or more.

The magic pink looks a little dark. Have you checked to see if the colour is actually 255.0.255? It needs to be only one digit out for the pink to show.

Yes, the images have no pink in between magic and non. Note the SkinStudio preview area. That is how it is all supposed to look like. In that area, there is no pink showing. I will try to play with the margins and see if it makes any difference.

Hmmm, interesting... The screenshot shows the UIS2 version of the skin, which is why my margins look messed up. When I open the USF version, the margins are as I had set them originally. I am not sure why there is such a difference.
